Patsy began her ballet training at age 3 and was awarded an Elementary Level qualification by the Royal Academy of Dance in 1991. After moving to San Francisco, USA in 1993, she practiced jazz and modern dance, while teaching part-time at Millbrae Dance Academy and studying for a Bachelor's degree in Illustration at the California College of the Arts. In 2005, Patsy had her first yoga lesson in Perth, Australia and fell in love with the practice. In 2008, she commenced her 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training, and completed 100 hours of prenatal yoga teacher training in 2011. Since 2017, Patsy has been practicing yoga under the guidance of Master Yogananth Andiappan, completing a second 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training and a 300-hour Yoga Therapy teacher training. She volunteers as a teacher with the Andiappan Yoga Community, leading yoga therapy classes for pain and stroke patients at the Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital; Anahata Yoga for the patient from Queen Elizabeth Hospital & teaching elderlies at the Asia Women’s League Elderly Centre. As a mother of three, Patsy loves to share her experiences and knowledge through prenatal and postnatal yoga classes. She believes that yoga can help everyone become a better person, connecting body and soul, and living a healthier, more positive life.
