I currently work full time as a class teacher in a primary school. A few years ago, I developed an interest in mindfulness education programmes in hopes of foster resilience and boost self-esteem in my students. I quickly realised that mindfulness practise was actually something I deeply needed for myself. Since then, I have been actively working towards finding balance and cultivating compassion within myself, my students and others. From there, yoga was the natural ‘next’ avenue to explore! I joined the 200hr YTT course at Anahata to develop a better relationship with myself and to deepen my knowledge and practise of yoga beyond just the asanas. I look forward to sharing what I know and continuing to learn from others.
