About this Project:

Date: 25th September 2017 (Mon)

Time: 19:00 – 21:00

Venue: Room 105, Chong Yuet Ming Amenities Centre, The University of Hong Kong (Multi-Purpose Room)

Number of Participants: 30 – 35

AYC was invited by the Science Society of The University of Hong Kong to host an introductory yoga class for their students. This event is offered free to all students in the Science faculty. The participants will have a chance to try out basic yoga postures and breathing techniques. They will also learn about the general benefits of yoga.

University students are constantly under pressure from the rigours of their studies. Practising yoga allows them to maintain good health and a stable mental and emotional state.

This was an one-time event, however, students were encouraged to continue the practice during their free time. AYC aims to promote the benefits of yoga to people of all ages in our society.
