Tanny had continuously started practicing yoga since 2005. Till Dec 2013, she decided to deepen her yoga anatomy and theory through a 200-hour Yoga teaching training program at Anahata Yoga. Upon completion the study, Tanny started to teach in the Andiappan Yoga Community’s Free Yoga Classes for Overseas Workers (Domestic Helpers) together with a group of teachers, and has continued to do so until now. She teaches yoga asana and pranayama to over 100 overseas workers every weekend. In early September 2015, Tanny traveled to India to undergo a 100-hour Intensive Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Course with her teacher Yogananth Andiappan. This was an Intermediate to Advanced course held at the Asana College of Yoga & Research Centre in Tamil Nadu, Chennai. Due to the constant desire to help more people and learn more about yoga, Tanny pursued further studies by joining the; ~ 300-hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training from September to December 2015. ~ 300-hour Yoga Therapy Teacher Training from November 2016 to April 2017, ~ 100-hour Pranayama and Meditation Teacher Training from Feb to March 2019, All offered by Anahata Yoga in Hong Kong. With all of these qualifications and teaching experiences, Tanny is teaching now Breast Cancer Survivors through Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF)’s, by using Yoga Therapy and Pranayama techniques to help more survivors their recovery. Tanny is keen on investing more hours in teaching and sharing yoga and its benefits with more people.
