About this Project:

The Caritas Jockey Club Integrated Service for Young People (Tak Tin) is dedicated in providing children and family support services to young people and families in East Kowloon. Apart from promoting family harmony through launching a wide range of diversified workshops and experiential programmes, it also seeks to support parents of adolescents and kids through providing consistent companionship, vocational development trainings, counselling and other community services.

The Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) is delighted to partner with Caritas (Tak Tin) in providing yoga classes for mothers of children with special education needs (SEN) ranging from Primary 2 to Secondary 1, most of which also struggle with other mental conditions or emotional problems such as ADHD.

It is hoped that through providing a series of yoga therapy sessions to mothers who require both physical and mental support, AYC can help them release their tension and stress from their surrounding and thereby help foster a loving and caring neighbourhood for the community. By introducing the therapeutic benefits and healing power of yoga through the sessions, we hope all participants can walk away with a more balanced body, mind and soul.
