Andiappan Yoga Community’s mission is to empower people and communities to realize their full potential through the transformative wisdom and practice of yoga. Each year, we allocate some funds for scholarships; all scholarships are partial and funds are limited. Awards are based on financial need and other hardship as well as plans to serve. Candidates must be a yoga student for at least one year.

The course location in India will include food accommodation and training.
The course location in Hong Kong will include a portion of the training fee only, all other expenses have to be arranged by the students themselves.
Applicants who are eligible to apply include:
Students who are practicing yoga regularly with any of our AYC run projects for a minimum of one year can apply for the scholarship.
Students must provide some proof about their practice.
Provide photos/certificates/recommendation letters from the yoga teachers/ Project leader.
Have a strong commitment to bring yoga to the under-served communities and to support the mission of AYC.
Demonstrate financial position with proof to qualify for consideration of the Scholarship.

Submitting an application for a scholarship does not guarantee that you will receive one. Scholarships typically cover a large portion of tuition but not entirely. The award of scholarship and the amount will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
