Patsy led a yoga session for 8 stroke patients. They started by sitting on chairs and practicing some breathing techniques, as well as stretching and strengthening exercises for their fingers, hands, arms, neck, shoulders, upper back, toes, ankles, and calves. Then they stood up to stretch their hips, lower backs, and calves. Finally, they were very excited to sit on the yoga mats and practice some lower back poses, as it was their first time doing so. One of the patients had difficulty sitting down, but she managed to do it with some help. Everyone clapped their hands to encourage her.
