I embarked on my yoga journey when I was 19 and have deeply felt its benefits which have helped me stay calm, limber and strong, especially during the most stressful days when I was in quarantine and writing my dissertation at Cambridge. In academia, a great deal of emphasis is placed on intellectual strength and less so on physical and mental resilience. But the word \"yoga\" in Sanskrit means union of the body, mind and spirit. Balance from my experience has offered me an enduring sense of joy and peace that is external to sensorial indulgence. Having completed my 200-hour teacher training at Anahata, I am determined to keep progressing on my journey and share the gift of yoga as a lifestyle to as many people as possible.
