About this Project:

“Yoga is a unity of the mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is about discovering the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature. By creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us celebrate International Yoga Day, June 21st, which is of great significance, as it is the fourth year as well as Summer Solstice. So far, more than 170 countries worldwide have shown their support for this day.”

It will increase the understanding of “yoga for all” classes are offered. This event will also honor the volunteer leaders and volunteers who have been actively teaching in our yoga community.

Let us share yoga with our loved ones.

Sun- Salutation (Surya Namaskaram) is one of the most widely practiced sequences in yoga. It is a set of 12 – 16 poses which can be performed in a repetitive sequence. The practice of this dynamic sequence helps the mind focus on one thing alone – the movement of the body synchronized with the breath. This will help to quiet the mind as well. Kirtan is the art of group chanting in the musical tradition of India. The lyrics are usually in Sanskrit or Hindi. A beautiful
voice is not essential to Kirtan but more about singing from the heart. Simply listening attentively to the music may uplift, inspire and even heal the listener to some degree.

Join us and sing from the heart.
